Pumpkin Patch

For some reason, I am getting into Halloween more this year. I guess it is more fun because Sadie knows what she wants to be and I found a cute costume to make for Eve. Don't worry David isn't left out because my mom brought him a Halloween costume when she visited last week. I need to start collecting some boy costumes so that David doesn't have to wear princess costumes!

So now I feel like a "real" mom because I finally took my kids to a pumpkin patch. Pumpkins (or most fruits and vegetables) aren't really grown around here, so I am sure that it is not the same as picking a pumpkin off the vine, but we had fun anyway.

David loved the hay ride. He kept asking to go again.

Eve liked it, too. Luckily my friend Jessica helped me out because I don't know why I thought taking 3 kids all by myself was a good idea.

Sadie and Will

Despite missing her morning nap, Eve was in good spirits.

Sadie picking out her pumpkin. Yup, she got it off the ground in the background. At least they weren't still in  a cardboard box.

Finally . . .

Now that Eve is 8 months old (where does the time go???) we decided it was probably time to get some family pictures taken with all five of us. My friend Kim went out with us and she took some fun shots. They aren't perfect, but hey, that is reality with three kids.

And you'll have to wait for our Christmas card to see our favorite family one.

Once In a Blue Moon

I'm so excited to be taking part in the Once in a Blue Moon Boutique tomorrow and Friday! I'm selling my owl hats and baby mary janes, but the highlight of the boutique will be the amazing refinished furniture by my friend, Barb. Her stuff is beautiful! The boutique runs Thurday from 6pm-9pm and Friday from 10am-9pm at 1633 E Heather Ave.
