"Diaper- Free"

So Chris brought this article from ABC news to my attention, and I would love to not have to pay for diapers, but this seems kinda odd and weird to me. My sister-in-law is from Peru and she told me that they potty-train babies when they are about three months old, but she lives in Utah now and I don't think that her two year old is potty trained yet. I can't help but wonder what everyone else thinks about these moms and babies. Smart? Crazy?

We're Back

Our trip back east has come to a close. We saved one of the best parts for last, though. We drove up to New York to one of the finger lakes, Lake Owasco, to visit some friends, the Clays. We had a blast! We went water-skiing, tubing, sailing, and all sorts of fun lake stuff. We will have more pictures to follow (hopefully) of the six person pyramid towed behind the boat and some video footage of some water-skiing .Many thanks to the Clays for having us, this is the view from their back porch. So cute! Sadie and Rylee had fun exploring each other, although Rylee had more fun playing with the dog, Shadow.

Les Miserables

So Lolly, my mom, my brother Josh, and I went into New York City last night to watch Les Miserables. Before we went to the play, we decided to get a bite to eat. The only problem was that no one could decide where they wanted to eat. So we ended up at TGI Fridays in Times Square. It was probably the dirtiest TGI Fridays I have ever been in. The play, however, was fantastic. It was Lolly and I's first time seeing it. We both loved it. The story, the music, ... it was all great! Not quite as good as the book, but the best play I've seen yet.

Washington D.C.

We arrived in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, and headed down south to Washington DC on Wednesday. Sadie and I had never been in DC before, so we tried to see as much as possible.

We also saw Arlingtong Cemetary and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Smithsonian Air and Space Musuem and took a tour bus around the major sites in DC. Sadie was a good little trooper all day, she let us drag her all over. Time is going by so fast on our trip here, we will try and post some more pictures later!

Camping

Chris, Sadie, and I joined our ward for a little camp out north of Payson and Pine. We went with our new neighbors and friends, Ashley and Brandon. We did the usual camping stuff like tin foil dinners, s'mores, a little walk, and a pretty drive. Here are some pictures:
I know what you are thinking: Green?! In Arizona?! The whole area was beautiful and the weather was perfect after being in 100+ degree temperatures in Mesa.
Here are Chris and Sadie on our little walk. Sadie liked to ride on Chris' shoulders and would just grab his hair or ears if she started to wobble.
The only wildlife that we saw was in Pine on the way to Ashley's grandparent's cabin (we camped in tents for a night, and then Brandon and Ashley stayed in Pine for another night with her very nice grandparents who fed us all lunch)

Sadie recently competed in the First Not-Quite-International Worm Olympics. She was the only contender for the gold but that did not stop her from winning it "hands down".

What can't he do?!

Yesterday in cleaning out our apartment Chris and I came across my laptop that hadn't turned on in four months. I was all for just throwing it away, but Chris wanted to play with it and take it apart first. Fifteen minutes later and four parts fewer Chris got it to turn on. Even as I am sitting here typing on it I can barely believe it! It is good to know that if Chris decides that he doesn't want to be an attorney in the future he can always try his hand at computers.
