We were long overdue for a family vacation, so we headed over to Southern California a few weeks ago. My mom came with us because we needed a little extra help. We started out at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. It was a fun little aquarium.
I told Eve she was brave for touching the starfish, and she said, "I'm not Merida!"
David almost attacked a stingray.
We watched a squid dissection.
Looking at the jellyfish.
The next day we went down to Old Town San Diego.
We put the kids on these barrels and David wanted to hold hands.
Isaac spend most of the weekend in the baby carrier.
Then we went and visited the Mormon Battalion site and panned for gold.
Then we drove over to Coronado Island and played on the beach.
The kids were not fans of having sand everywhere.
We spend our last night at Mickey Mouse's Halloween Party at Disneyland. We had a great time.
My mom took Eve and Isaac home around 9, and Chris and I stayed with Sadie and David until it closed at 11. We opted to walk back to our car instead of taking the tram and this is what we found in the stroller when we got there.
