Mount Baldy

 While I was in Utah visiting family Chris was off backpacking with some of the boys and YM leaders in our ward. I wasn't there but thought that some of these pictures were worth documenting, because out blog is a journal of sorts. Here is a picture of the whole group:

The first day they hiked into the park and set up camp.

 The second day they hiked to the top of Mount Baldy and back down.

It has been such a cold winter/spring there was snow at the top.

 What are they looking at those clouds for?? Well, they are not clouds, but smoke.

 They had to cut their trip two days short. They were evacuated because of the huge fire that we had in Arizona a couple weeks back. Can you see the light from the fire just over the mountains? Chris has informed me that the area that they hiked through is now burned :(

4 Months

I can't believe that Eve is already 4 months old. She weighs just over 14 lbs (60th percentile) and is 25 inches tall (80th percentile.) I just can't get enough of her sweet face.

Emptying out the Camera. . .

These cups with straws are one of my favorite things right now, and David loves it when I let him use them.

David has recently decided that he needs to push chairs all over the kitchen to be in the middle of everything. It gets to the point that there are no chairs at the table, only by the counters.

You know summer has started when you bring out the watermelon. . . 

I just couldn't take this picture fast enough. Both Sadie and David were laying on the ground talking to Eve, but David got up as soon as he saw the camera. You can tell the Eve was very interested in what they had to say.

 We recently took a trip to Utah, but I only have a handful of pictures from it. We met up with some of the cousins at the play area of the mall. Here is Sadie, David, and Noah riding in a jeep.

Ok, so I know that this is a blurry picture, but it is the best I can get of Evelyn smiling at this point. 

And here is a picture of Sadie at the same age. I think they are looking more alike now that Eve's face is thinning out. 

Mrs. Tongue

She just loves to stick out her tongue and let it hang out.

I can't decide if it is cute or weird.
