Freedom!

Our little trip to Tucson to take the bar was pretty uneventful. Chris spent two days taking tests and I spent two days with Sadie wasting time and waiting for Chris to get done. We did however get to meet up with BYU friend Britney Hellwig. We only had a brief visit but it is always fun to catch up with old friends. Today marks the beginning of a short, unique period of time for our family. Now that Chris is done with the bar, neither of us are working and we have pretty much no responsiblities except little Sadie. Life has been pretty busy since February with Sadie's birth, Chris' graduation, me going back to work for a month, and then finally the bar, so we are excited for this freedom and are trying to not let the possibility of failing the bar stop us from having fun. So far on the list of things to do is: sleep in, go swimming daily, look for a home and possibly make an offer, go to Pennsylvania for two weeks to visit Chris' family, see DC and New York City, and I am also trying to talk Chris into one last weekend of fun in Utah for the Arizona vs BYU game on Sept 1 in Provo. Tonight will be fun because we have a little party with Chris' work for finishing the bar, and thanks to Holly and Matt we will have a baby-free evening! September 4th will be a bittersweet day, because it means that Chris will have to start working, but it will also mean that he will be starting his career, and more importantly we will have an income once again!

Wow, you guys have been busy! That must be so nice to have the bar behind you, I'm sure Chris passed (although I have no idea what all is included in it!). Enjoy your time off, sounds like you've got a lot of fun stuff planned. How exciting, house hunting & starting your career!
