SADIE (40 months)
Sadie has turned into a little fish in the last week. She finally got over her fear of going under water and has been loving it. It helps that she got some goggles and diving fish.
putting the lids on the baby bottles for me when they come out of the dishwasher,
and wearing costumes whenever it suits her fancy.
DAVID (11 months)
David has also proven to be a water baby and loves pool time.
I know that everyone thinks that their kids are the cutest things ever (I'm no exception) so I just wanted to share this little story about David. Yesterday David and I got the chance to go run some errands while Sadie had a play date. We went in the pool store to pick up some chemicals and another customer said to me, "What a cute fellow!" He then said, "It is a he, right?" David was wearing orange so I though the question was legitimate and I answered him. He said, "I thought he was a boy, but he is just so beautiful."
In other news my parents and niece Nicole came for a quick visit over Memorial Day. We had a good time with them and I promised to send them these pictures from when we went to the Mesa Temple.
Also, Chris' brother Josh has moved in with us for the summer while he ex-terns with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. Sadie loves having one more person to follow around and can't wait until Lani comes to join us next week.
We worked on one more project in preparation for our summer guests, but didn't quite finish it is time. We made the farmhouse bed from knock-off wood and are very happy with the results. It's a bad picture, but you get the idea.
And we'll finish it off with a fun sibling picture.

The bed looks soooo good. I've been eyeing that bed for while. It kind of intimidates me to make a bed and since I've been so busy lately I keep pushing the thought back. But you've given me hope that maybe I can do it. We'll have to chat so I can get some pointers.
