The 4th of July

 We had so much fun celebrating the 4th of July this year with our neighbors. We started out the day with a patriotic 'ceremony' where we hung one flag for each of the original 13 colonies at our neighbor's house. Each of the neighborhood kids got a turn climbing the ladder and hanging one of the flags.

Then we went and picked up my mom from the airport and reconvened at the same neighbor's house for a pool party/ bbq/ karaoke party. 

And of course, once it got dark we all went out to the street for fireworks.
