Plumbing 101

My first lesson in plumbing--don't put a giant bowl of noodles in the garbage disposal at one time. The drain got majorly clogged very fast. We tried Drano (the generic version, of course) but didn't have any success. I tried plunging the drain, but that just shifted the backed-up water from the left sink to the right sink and back. Finally, at about 10:00pm I decided I would try and be a plumber. I removed the nice little U-shaped pipe and out splashed all of our dirty Drano-contaminated water into the typically-used-for-craft-materials bin donated by Lolly. The pipes were packed with noddles. We spent the next 20 minutes or so removing nasty, half-diced noodles from the drain. Needless to say, when we were all done, I decided I needed to take a shower. The real sad part of the story is that I thought the whole experience was pretty cool. I've never fixed a clogged drain before. I consider this my first step toward becoming a regular handyman.

We've had a few plumbing problems... want to fly out to CA? We could use your services!

Bring gloves.

With a shaved head, I'd call you Mr Clean. (nice gloves)

Hey, what a coincidence, we use the same dish detergent.
