Last night we found out where Chris' parents are going to serve as a mission president. We've known for a month or so that Chris' dad was called to be an English speaking mission president, which left us with about 80 possibilities ranging from Australia, Canada, England, to California (Santa Rosa was on the list!) Provo, and Ogden, UT. Chris immediately guessed that they would go to Ogden because Chris has two siblings in Ogden and one more within an hour+ drive away from Ogden- all of whom are not active in the church.
And Chris was right, they are going to spend the next three years directing missionary activities in Ogden! I'm jealous of the siblings there that will have many opportunities to see their parents for the next three years, but I know that we will make it up there at least once a year. A small part of me is sad that we won't have the excuse to go somewhere like England or Australia, but we know that Ogden is the place they are suppose to be!
