I have always thought that the Boy Scouts Program was great, but I have always been happy to admire it from a distance. As I have mentioned, Chris is in the Venture Scouting program, which is lots of fun, intense outings and
camp outs. Recently I have been put in as our ward's assistant
Webelos leader! Can I tell you that I have no idea what I am doing? Luckily my partner has done
Webelos before and she is being very patient with me as I get into the
Webelos groove. I am a little scared, but the boys are great and fun to get to be with, so I am sure that I'll enjoy it. The worst part is that I have to wear a Boy Scout uniform.

oh wow! Have fun with that...I have no clue what they do! You'll have to let me know what the best parts are!~
Lolly, the uniform is not that bad. They could ask you to wear a burlap sack with wool pants. I would love to help you and Chris out with advice or resources to look at. Only, I cannot get in touch with you guys. Let me know if you need anything scouting related. The Husband
Levy and I were Wolf leaders for about a year. Translation: I was a wolf leader for about a year as Levy was never home. It took me a while to figure out what I was doing, but it was a lot of fun. Now I work with achievement day girls and I've been able to apply a lot of things I learned in scouts- mostly the organizational stuff. I was too cheap to buy a unform so I wore levy's old scouting shirt. It was lovely, and only about 10 sizes too big.
