Teri is SO jealous of your adorable puppy. But I keep telling her to just wait and Gibby will probably get hairy enough she won't even know the difference.

How adorable. We've been debating this very issue. After my kids fell in love with the Buterscotch pony in the stores at Christmas time I realized they needed to spend more time with real animals. I conviced Levy that we needed a dog, but then time passed and the desire faded. I still want one at night when I'm home alone and hearing strange noises, but during the day when I would be walking it and feeding it and bathing it, and, and, and I'm quite happy to be petless. Let us know how it goes.

Yay! We have two miniature dachshunds and we LOVE them (I never thought I would be a dog person). Oh, they are the funniest dogs ever.

We had a dog a while back...for a week and then we got rid of him. It was bad timing but he was super cute and we did love him. I'm sure you'll have better luck than we did. 1 thing in your favor is that you have a house, we were on the 3rd floor of an apartment building.

SO cute!! We're thinking about getting a dog this year too. I'm a little nervous about training a puppy, you'll have to keep us updated!
